This position is an exciting opportunity to join the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration team as a Gastroenterology Physician. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our gastroenterology services.
Responsibilities- Perform endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
- See patients in the gastroenterology outpatient clinic
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct histories and physicals on admission
- Screen patients for endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have a degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree
- Must have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
- Must have completed residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English
