About the Role
At EXP, we're seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Specialist to join our Site Civil team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects. Your expertise will help us deliver innovative solutions for our clients across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Design grading and drainage elements for site improvements.
- Properly coordinate utility conflict resolutions and design utility piping systems when required.
- Prepare erosion control documents, including permitting and SWPPP submittals.
- Analyze site plan layout with attention to pedestrian circulation and vehicle movements.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for gravity and pressure piping systems.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to finalize all design details.
- Perform construction assistance tasks, including responding to RFIs, visiting job sites, reviewing submittals, and coordinating needed revisions.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a Civil Engineering or related role, with site development experience preferred.
- EIT certification is preferred and working towards PE.
- Ability to problem solve, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and present timely questions to development project/technical understanding.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
