Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to adult and geriatric Ortho patients
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop nursing care plans based on determination of nursing diagnoses and identified problems
- Implement nursing care within the RN's scope of practice, including compliance with laws and regulations
- Develop and implement teaching plans for patients concerning promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health
- Provide education, emotional support, and age-specific care to foster a partnership with the patient and significant others
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care hospital within the last 3 years
- Strong clinical expertise and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating weekends and night shifts
