Pharmacy Technician III

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician III to join our team in Opa Locka, Florida.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician III to support our pharmacy department. The ideal candidate will have advanced technological, analytical, and critical thinking skills, including effective communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to lead and work well with others in a team with minimal supervision.

• Maintains and supports medication distribution systems and distribution channels, including automated dispensing cabinets, unit dose systems, code carts, trays, and kits.
• Prepares, fills, receives, delivers, stocks, and restocks medication inventory and supplies for the pharmacy department and drug storage areas.
• Assists with customer service and patient needs, including answering telephones, managing work queues, and completing medication histories.
• Prepares non-sterile compounded medications, including hazardous prescription data entry in pharmacy system when applicable.
• Processes medication charges/credits when applicable.
• Responsible for orienting and training new pharmacy technicians or students.
• Completes other responsibilities as assigned in support of pharmacy.

• Two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Advanced computer skills preferred.
