We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Coach to join our team at Foss Swim School. As a Swim Coach, you will be responsible for teaching children and adults of all ages how to swim and stay safe in the water.
This is a part-time position that requires a minimum of 12 hours per week. You will work in a pool setting and be responsible for managing a class of students, providing hands-on swim instruction, and promoting swimmer safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming lessons to children and adults of all ages and skill levels
- Manage a class of students and provide individualized instruction and support
- Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment
- Build relationships with students and their families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in swim instruction
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Comfortable working in a pool setting
- Positive attitude and high energy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children and adults is preferred
