About the Role

Rossford Schools is seeking a talented Driver and Educator to join our team as a Bus Driver. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students while providing safe and reliable transportation services.

  • The estimated annual salary for this position is around $62,000, which reflects the high demand for this role in our area.
  • The daily route duration is approximately four hours, divided between morning and afternoon school periods. The role requires a reliable and safe transportation service to our students.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Bus Driver, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving a bus safely and efficiently to transport students to and from school.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
  • Ensuring student safety by adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving history, along with a satisfactory criminal background check and negative drug test results.
  • Completion of a reputable pre-employment driver training program, as well as basic and advanced bus driver education courses. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is also mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary for consideration.
