Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer I to join our team at Kohler Co. As a Security Officer I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and assets. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of associates, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and secure work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on security protocols and procedures, and provide training and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year college degree preferred.
  • Law enforcement, industrial security, or military police experience preferred.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
