Compassionate Caregiver Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a Travel CNA in various Good Samaritan Society locations within a 150-mile radius from home address. This opportunity offers competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

About the Role
  • Assist residents with basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned resident.
  • Transfer, reposition, and walk residents using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
  • Provide range of motion and passive exercises.
  • Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for the resident.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $17.00 - $25.50 per hour, depending on location and experience. This is a variable hourly rate based on the requirements and responsibilities of the position.
