Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our Housekeeping team at Bluebird Dennisport. As a Hotel Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel public areas, including hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of allocated floors to collect garbage, soiled linen, and other items as directed by management.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, lobby, and other work areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Transport clean linen to the housekeeping storage rooms and replenish linen supplies on each floor.
- Deliver requested supplies, such as rollaway beds, cribs, and blankets, to guest rooms.
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests' needs.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification (GED).
- Strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- At least one year of experience as a houseperson, housekeeper, or similar position in the hospitality industry.
- Strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience.
