Job Summary:

DocGo is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing top-tier medical transport to patients in need. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Be flexible with your schedule, as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock.
  • Stay up-to-date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and certifications.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with patients, coworkers, and the public.
  • Recognize and treat medical conditions using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Provide medical transport to medical facilities, assuming responsibility for patient care and adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Operate and drive the ambulance safely, following safety policies and laws.
  • Maintain rig cleanliness and stock supplies as needed.
  • Gather patient billing information and submit reports as required.
  • Respond promptly to assignments and communicate effectively with the Dispatch Center.
Requirements:
  • Delaware ALS Certification
  • NREMT-P
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Delaware Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) certification for driving positions
  • Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more
  • Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certification
