Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

CJ Logistics America is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective execution of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve productivity and efficiency targets
  • Conduct daily shift meetings to discuss goals, progress, and challenges
  • Solve problems and address issues related to employee performance, safety, and quality
  • Regularly communicate team goals and results to the warehouse team and management
  • Participate in site management meetings and employee round tables to discuss operational performance and improvement initiatives
  • Implement CJ Logistics' Labor Management Program to optimize workforce productivity
  • Participate in inventory and quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to warehouse team members
  • Monitor and manage employee time, attendance, and payroll
  • Ensure implementation of leading practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of direct supervisory experience
  • Skills in leadership, organization, communication, and cross-functional teamwork
  • Emphasis on safety is extremely important
  • Preferred: understanding of warehousing operations, experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment, familiarity with MHE, Microsoft Office applications, and warehouse management systems

  • Ability to shift priorities easily and multitask in a highly transactional environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to engage with the workforce and create a positive environment and culture
