Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a travel assignment in Belmont, North Carolina. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images using computed tomography equipment and ensuring that these images are accurate and effectively communicated to physicians for medical interpretation.
Responsibilities include confirming patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, and explaining imaging procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support as needed. Additionally, you will correctly interpret doctors' written instructions, appropriately position patients for scanning, use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images, administer radiocontrast agents as necessary, evaluate CT scans for technical quality, and follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
To succeed in this role, you should possess 1 year of experience in a related field, hold BLS certification, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required. You should also have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop easily, and maintain accurate patient records.
