Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using technical knowledge and good judgment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of procedures, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Acquire and process patient studies using nuclear medicine equipment
  • Set up reading for physicians and maintain accurate and complete daily records
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nuclear medicine technologies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
  • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
  • At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine (Certified Nuclear Medicine)
