Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train a team of cashiers to ensure efficient and accurate checkout processes
  • Provide guidance and support to cashiers and baggers to ensure excellent customer service
  • Monitor and maintain cash register supply levels and ensure accurate cash handling
  • Assign store sweeps and maintain cleanliness standards in our restrooms and parking lots
  • Schedule and oversee the proper execution of meal and rest breaks pursuant to company policy and state requirements

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
  • Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers
  • Ability to operate front-end equipment, register, calculator, scanner
  • Good communication skills and ability to take direction and constructive criticism
  • Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
  • Must lift/carry product horizontally/vertically weighing up to 30 lbs.
