Senior Living Nurse

As a Senior Living Nurse at Muncie Estates Senior Living, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team as a caregiver leader.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor the daily care of all residents, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is maintained.
• Perform skilled nursing tasks as defined by company policy and procedure, and as allowed by state law.
• Document observations, concerns, and changes in resident conditions, incidents, and/or accidents, and ensure that follow-up documentation occurs until the issue is resolved.
• Communicate resident needs and concerns to family members and physicians, and communicate with family members, physicians, and other outside healthcare providers.
• Record and implement physician orders, and ensure that information and interventions recorded on resident service plans are implemented by caregivers.
• Ensure that Medication Aides are maintaining an orderly medication cart, medication room, and accurate medication administration records.
Requirements
• Current state LPN/LVN or RN License if required by State.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a healthcare setting.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner.
