The successful candidate will perform patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures, and critical care procedures in adult care areas. They will also be responsible for blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment, and patient education.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences and be credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). They will also be licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners. Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS are also required.

Key responsibilities will include performing basic and advanced patient assessments, ensuring documentation, administering medication, and initiating, monitoring, and managing invasive and non-invasive ventilation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for safeguarding patient care equipment and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
