Position Title: Senior Audio-Visual Installation Supervisor
Department: Operations
Reports To: Project Manager or Account Executive

POSITION OVERVIEW: This role is pivotal in leading and managing a team of technicians tasked with the installation of audio-visual hardware components, ensuring that all financial, programmatic, and operational objectives are met. Reporting to a Project Manager, the Senior Audio-Visual Installation Supervisor is integral to the Operations team, contributing to a premier sales and AV integration initiative. As a seasoned professional in a dynamic installation environment, you will independently coordinate, receive, inventory, assemble, and install AV equipment at various job sites, adhering to the company's policies and procedures regarding quality, safety, environmental, and business practices. This position involves regional travel, with job sites varying throughout the designated area and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate teams responsible for the receipt, inventory, assembly, and installation of AV equipment.
  • Direct and schedule installation teams, ensuring travel arrangements and accommodations are managed effectively.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior technicians, assisting them in achieving higher-level certifications.
  • Handle the movement and positioning of large equipment and wiring supplies, with the ability to lift and carry heavy objects unassisted.
  • Troubleshoot audio and video equipment installations as needed.
  • Install and terminate cables using appropriate connectors.
  • Drill into various materials for the installation of AV systems.
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 10 feet.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience in AV team leadership and management (2-4 years).
  • CTS certification is mandatory.
  • CTS-I certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of employment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, often on short notice, with extended work hours.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug testing prior to employment.
  • Strong communication skills with experience in team direction.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and industrial equipment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks.
  • Strong decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Effective problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and complete safety training.

Supervisory Duties:
  • Coordinate and lead AV technician teams on-site.
  • Manage travel and accommodation logistics for team members.
  • Maintain relationships with client contacts at various job sites.

Work Environment: The role may involve working in comfortable, climate-controlled settings, as well as in less favorable conditions typical of construction sites. Occasionally, outdoor work may be required.
