Infection Prevention Program Director

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Nurse Manager-Infection Control to lead our Infection Prevention Program at Ascension St. John in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a salary range of $115,000 - $140,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program, including planning, development, and implementation of operational objectives, goals, and processes. They will also establish and ensure compliance with infection prevention policies and procedures to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
In addition, they will manage recruitment, interview, selection, retention, staff development, and performance management processes for the assigned departments. The Director will also develop department operating and capital budgets and achieve financial goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in leadership roles, specifically in infection control. Certification in Infection Control from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) is required within 36 months of hire date or job transfer date. A Registered Nurse credential from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing is also required prior to hire date or job transfer date.
