Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are obtained for accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve imaging quality, patient satisfaction, and workflow efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related modality.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality patient care.
