Culinary Specialist

Marshall Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Cook to join our Dietary Services team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing appetizing and healthful food for our residents, taking into account their nutritional and health needs.

• Review menus prior to food preparation to ensure accuracy and quality
• Inspect special diet trays to ensure they meet resident needs
• Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of foods to meet resident preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies
• Coordinate dietary services with other departments as needed
• Assist in standardizing food preparation methods
• Ensure food and supplies are readily available for meal service

• Associate's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
• Two years of experience in food service, with leadership skills and experience a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
