Position Overview:

Role: Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager

Location: Hybrid role requiring travel

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Compensation: $70 to $80 per hour on W2

Job Responsibilities:
  • Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior BA / PM capacity.
  • Demonstrate a robust understanding of financial reconciliations.
  • Preferred experience in designing, configuring, and automating financial reports and reconciliations using industry-standard tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, Intellimatch, Proactive, and Duco.
  • Knowledge of various financial instruments, including Fixed Income, Equities, Exchange-Traded Derivatives, and Over-the-Counter derivatives.
  • Understand the lifecycle of financial trades, including Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange, with knowledge of trade clearing and settlement processes.
  • Experience with SWIFT messaging, particularly in payments and cash management, as well as in trade confirmations.
  • Familiarity with MQ, NDM, and SFTP protocols.
  • Proficient in data analysis, including the ability to create complex SQL queries for data extraction from databases such as MySQL, PLSQL, and Oracle.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects across various business and IT teams globally, identifying requirements and conducting gap analyses.
  • Capable of producing a variety of project documentation, including project plans, Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and process flows.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial sector is highly desirable.
  • Adept at identifying, documenting, and addressing gaps in processes to ensure alignment with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse business teams, including Finance, Operations, and Compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
Required Skills:
  • Experience in designing, configuring, and automating financial reports and reconciliations using industry-standard tools.
  • Knowledge of various financial instruments.
Educational Background:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred candidates should hold a PMP certification.
