Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals, to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Operate sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation to capture high-quality images
  • Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for diagnostic interpretation
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • State license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Vocational school graduate with a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
