Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Travel Position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel position in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality patient care and support our team in a travel position. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment.
  • Educate patients, other health professionals, and family regarding speech therapy on an on-going basis.
  • Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings accordingly.
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • One to three years' experience as an SLP preferred.
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
