Mercy Medical Group, part of Dignity Health, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its expanding Palliative Medicine Team at a Citrus Heights, CA location. This role offers an Inpatient and/or Outpatient component, allowing for a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret tests; collaborate with specialists for further evaluation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
  • Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

  • A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California.
  • Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare).
  • Completion of state-mandated educational courses.

Pay Range: $85.06 per hour
