  2. Ensure safe and dependable housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and rectify paint and wall imperfections proactively.
    • Protect surrounding areas with masking tape, drop cloths, and other coverings to prevent paint splatter.
    • Set up ventilation and safety equipment to safeguard against harmful fumes.
    • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, filling holes and cracks, and sanding to a smooth finish.
    • Apply primer and sealers as necessary.
    • Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes according to project specifications.
    • Utilize brushes, rollers, or sprayers to apply paint and finishes.
    • Strip old finishes using scrapers or chemical removers.
  • Remove and reinstall fixtures as needed.
  • Maintain an inventory of painting supplies including brushes, rollers, and tarps.
  • Estimate time and material costs for painting projects.
  • Clean tools and work areas using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Review and execute work orders and assignments.
  • Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to three years of painting experience is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
