About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Berkshire School. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to ensure a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and mopping floors and cleaning worktables and walls
  • Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements

We are looking for a team player who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
