Position Overview

ERS Wireless is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our Indianapolis location. This role will manage both clerical and warehouse duties related to shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments, ensuring all orders are accurately processed and delivered with a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Enter data into our internal CRM software, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Deliver in-house packages and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Process, update, and organize inventory shelves, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Pick, pull, pack, and prepare orders according to prescribed company procedures, meeting customer expectations.
  • Assist in pulling inventory for large projects and periodic inventory counting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet trucks, hand carts, and by hand as required, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintain OSHA forklift certification, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide superior customer service, resolving customer problems or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with minor building maintenance as assigned, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Complete any other assigned tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years of warehouse inventory, record filing, and data entry experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
  • Logistics background is a plus, with a valid Driver's License and ability to lift and move 50-pound boxes regularly.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
