About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher Assistant at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities
  • Retrieve trays from dirty utility rooms and clean off meal carts
  • Operate the dish machine to wash and sanitize dishes, pots, and utensils
  • Participate in the delivery of food services trays to customers while maintaining quality and sanitation standards
  • Support the assembly and delivery of patient/customer meals in accordance with established criteria and procedures
  • Maintain and support sanitation standards as required by department policy and regulatory agencies
  • Operate and maintain equipment commensurate with job assignment
  • Ensure quality guidelines are maintained as they pertain to the area assigned
  • Maintain department records, reports, and files as required
  • Participate in educational meetings/in-services
Requirements
  • Less than high school education or equivalent
  • Less than one year of experience in customer service or food service environment
  • Minimal legal age for consideration is 16
