Electrician Apprentice

The Geneva Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, Local Union #840, offers a comprehensive apprenticeship program for Electrician apprentices. The program is designed to provide hands-on training and education in the electrical trade.

Applicants must meet specific requirements, including being at least 18 years old, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing a physical examination and drug test. They must also be able to read English and hear and understand verbal instructions and warnings given in English.

The apprenticeship program includes classroom instruction and on-the-job training. Apprentices must furnish their own hand tools, estimated to cost approximately $300 by the end of the program. The program is open to residents within the geographic jurisdiction of Local Union #840.
