Job Title: Mechanical Inspector

Job Summary:

Verify Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies at various supplier facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct inspections to engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications
* Report inspection accept/reject information directly to the customer via web application
* Perform in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs)
* Use various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers
* Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs)
* Experience using various mechanical inspection tools
* Knowledge of AS9102 standard

Working as an Independent Contractor, selected candidates will be required to obtain an LLC.
