Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience with DB2 LUW platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge in DB2 LUW database administration, including performance tuning, query optimization, and backup/recovery strategies.
  • Strong understanding of DB2 LUW internal structures and database monitoring tools.
  • Experience with HADR, replication, and other high-availability configurations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with automation and scripting for database administration tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications:

  • IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 LUW certification is highly preferred.
