Job Summary:

The Operating Room Technician will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical staff during operations, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in the operating room
  • Prepare and sterilize equipment and instruments
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning
  • Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
