Montecatini Eating Disorder Treatment Center is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to contribute to their team of professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients struggling with eating disorders.
As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in promoting health and managing disease through the effective use of food and nutrition.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement personalized dietary-care plans.
- Review and approve patient menus and nutritional supplements to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Provide expert nutritional counseling to patients and their families, offering guidance on healthy eating habits, diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare personnel to determine patients' nutritional needs and diet restrictions.
- Participate in treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Monitor food service operations to ensure compliance with nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Experience working with eating disorders and substance abuse is highly desirable.
- Current registration as a Registered Dietitian or eligibility for endorsement by the state in which the facility provides services.
- ServSafe certification or similar food safety certification where required by the state or facility.
