Job Opportunity: Private Investigator

LJK Investigations LLC is seeking a skilled Private Investigator to join our team in Salem, Oregon. As a key member of our team, you will conduct investigations related to criminal and civil cases, analyze evidence, and provide expert testimony in court.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations, including witness interviews, crime scene analysis, and background checks
  • Service of legal papers and marketing of investigative services to businesses and attorneys
  • Analyze complex evidence and maintain accurate case files
  • Conduct surveillance and gather information through interviews and research
  • Collect and analyze physical evidence, including fingerprints and DNA samples
  • Research public records to gather relevant information
  • Ensure all investigations are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical standards
  • Provide clear and concise reports summarizing investigation findings
  • Testify in court as an expert witness
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in private investigations or law enforcement
  • Strong knowledge of criminal defense laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Maintain DPS Private Investigator license and Process Server Certification
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overnight assignments
