Job Title: Calibration Quality Manager

Palen Kimball Calibration is seeking a highly skilled Calibration Quality Manager to join our team. As a Calibration Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our calibration services and maintaining our accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for quality, both onsite and in the lab
  • Responsible for uncertainty budgets and uncertainties
  • Perform internal audits with responsibility for outcome and corrections
  • Responsible for external audits of sub-contractors
  • Understanding and ownership of the SOP, quality manuals, matrices, and approved vendors
  • Manage out-of-tolerance reports and reverse traceability's
  • Oversee the quality of work performed by technicians and metrologists
  • Able to perform and understand industry calculations in the field and lab, assisting as needed to ensure the work is completed in a timely manner
  • Perform in-place calibrations and lift heavy equipment (50 lbs.) as required
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in calibration
  • PMEL/Military experience desirable
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and Mechanical Calibration of equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Hipot Testers, Temperature and Humidity Controllers, Pressure Gauges, and Dimensional Equipment
  • Able to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Self-sufficient, working with little or no supervision and assume responsibilities as required
