Maxillofacial Specialist

**Oral Surgeon**

We are seeking a highly skilled Oral Surgeon to join our team at Choptank Community Health System, Inc.. As an Oral Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgery and related procedures on the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial regions.

• Consultation and Treatment Planning: Consult with patients and analyze patient data to determine patient needs and treatment goals.
• Surgical Procedures: Perform surgery to extract impacted, damaged, and non-restorable teeth, prepare the mouth for dental implants, and aid in regeneration of deficient bone and gum tissue.
• Patient Care: Record patient care by maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.

• Education and Experience: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school OR BDS degree internationally confirmed and additional residency in the US to acquire MD licensure, Licensed to practice dentistry in Maryland, Oral surgery residency, BLS and ACLS, DEA.

• Salary Range: The estimated annual salary range for this role is $250,000 - $350,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
