We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients.
- Assist surgeons in operative procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and review patient test results.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred.
- One or more years of experience as an OR RN preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting required.
- On-call rotation required - Must Live within 30 minutes of the facility.
HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission and offering a wide range of medical specialties. Our hospital is designated as a Primary Stroke Center and offers a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We are affiliated with HCA Florida Healthcare Division and sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, Florida.
