Job Summary

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced neuroimaging methods to investigate mechanisms of psychiatric symptoms related to puberty, pregnancy, the post-partum period, and menopause.
  • Develop and lead an independent research team while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of neuroscientists, engineers, and clinician-scientists.
  • Contribute to the development of a highly successful research group focused on reproductive psychiatry across the lifespan under the direction of senior faculty.

Requirements

  • Hold an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
