Job Summary:

CDL Drivers Choice is seeking a qualified CDL-A Local Truck Driver to join our team. As a regional truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering equipment parts to various locations within a 250-mile radius of Kansas City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a dry van with automatic transmission to deliver equipment parts to customers.
  • Operate a forklift and perform hand unloading at delivery locations.
  • Work a night shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 5:30pm and an end time of 7:30am.
  • Meet customer delivery expectations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience in the past 12 months.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Able to work night shift.
  • No preventable accidents or incidents in the last 12 months.
  • No drug test fails or refusals in a lifetime.
  • Good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Stable work history.
