About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Event Server to join our team at NeueHouse. As an Event Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thoughtful and personalized service to members and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ensure the café counter and floor are set and ready for service, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menus and be able to articulate to guests in an engaged and thoughtful manner.
  • Execute the order of service in a timely and accurate manner, creating memorable experiences for our members and guests.
  • Prepare all food and beverages to the standards of NeueHouse, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the prep kitchen to ensure areas are always fully stocked with food and beverage items.
  • Maintain cleanliness of areas, including all surfaces and equipment, adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Follow instructions, respond to management directions, and complete tasks on time, demonstrating dependability and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
  • Solution-oriented and taking pride in the details, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
  • Knowledge of coffee, tea, and other beverages, with the ability to prepare and serve them to a high standard.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Amazing coffee knowledge and skill, with the ability to brew and serve coffee to a high standard.
  • Attendance, punctuality, and dependability, with a strong commitment to being at work and on time.
  • Impeccable customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly to member needs and solicit feedback to improve service.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, balancing individual responsibilities with team goals and objectives.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative, with a focus on resolving issues and communicating effectively with colleagues and members.
