Position Summary:

In this role, you will operate with minimal oversight, taking charge of product cost management, detailed operational income statements, and inventory assessments. You will be responsible for generating comprehensive reporting and conducting financial analyses while contributing to special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  • Compile and analyze reporting packages for the Manufacturing division.
  • Evaluate product costing outcomes and discrepancies against standard costs.
  • Assist in the formulation of annual budgets for the Manufacturing division.
  • Interpret financial performance metrics and propose strategies for cost efficiency and profit enhancement.
  • Deliver accurate data and seek continuous improvement in the quality of information provided, adapting to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including:
    • Reporting to Finance leadership and senior management.
    • Collaborating with Operations leadership and departmental supervisors.
    • Interacting with management across different departments as necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience:
  • A minimum of five years in a professional setting focused on cost accounting, financial planning & analysis, or a related area.
  • Experience in product costing and cost accounting functions.
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluency in English is required.
