Job Description

Overview

Super Soccer Stars is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Soccer Coach to join our team. As a Coach, you will be responsible for delivering our best-in-class curriculum to small groups of children in a non-competitive and educational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality soccer training to children aged 1-12 years old.
  • Teach an energetic and motivating class while connecting and challenging each child to develop their skills.
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment for all children in the program.
  • Use positive reinforcement and specific labeled praise to encourage children to improve and celebrate their successes.
  • Act as a positive role model for children by exemplifying good sportsmanship and a positive attitude.
  • Manage a group of children aged 1 to 12 years old.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular feedback on their child's progress.
  • Maintain and organize equipment, ensuring that all necessary tools are available for classes.
  • Effectively and clearly communicate any programming issues to the home office.
  • Arrive on time, every time.

Qualifications

  • Passion for working with children.
  • A positive mindset with a desire to have fun while teaching.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Open to feedback.
  • Desire to improve by attending regular training and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
  • At least 18 years old or older.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to arrive early to set up for classes.
  • No soccer experience needed (but definitely helpful).
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
