Laminator Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laminator Assistant to join our team at Packing Corp Of America. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our corrugated packaging processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks and inform the Single Face Operator and Laminator Operator of any sheet quality issues.
• Set up and operate the downstacker section of the machine, troubleshooting mechanical issues as required.
• Lay mylar over label to determine die-cut lead edge and determine print registration tolerances.
• Work with the crew to maximize efficiency of the machine through communication of quality problems.
• Communicate with the supervisor and other crew members regarding mechanical problems.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Adhere to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.
• Be able and willing to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends.

Requirements:

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and heavy forklift traffic.
