Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Blue Horse Bartender to join our team at AJS Hotels. As a key member of our Banquets Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the vision, mission, and service standards of AJS Hotels.
• Greet guests and answer questions regarding beverages.
• Perform inventory management of all beer, wine, liquor, juices, and cut fruit.
• Collect money from beverages and complete hotel guests' payment transactions.
• Maintain cash drawer to ensure accuracy and security.
• Perform beginning-of-shift and end-of-shift duties.
• Assist with opening and other duties assigned.

Requirements

• At least one year of bartending experience required.
• Must be a minimum of 20 years of age and able to serve alcoholic beverages to hotel guests per KY Liquor Law.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced hotel work environment, and you will be working within meeting rooms and ballrooms for banquets and events.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for at least 4 hours in length, as well as a good sense of balance and the ability to bend and kneel. You should also be able to lift bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 25 pounds.
