We are seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor - RN or LPN to join our team at D'Youville Life and Wellness Community. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff on your shift, ensuring that high-quality care is provided to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign, direct, review, instruct, and check the work of all nursing staff on your shift.
- Maintain shift staffing levels and manage absences.
- Respond to codes and other emergency situations, evaluate, and document actions taken.
- Respond and resolve identified concerns regarding personnel and residents.
- Responsible for making periodic unit rounds to ensure staff are performing.
- Document changes in resident conditions.
- Conduct tours and provide new resident and family member orientations.
- As required, provide direct nursing care to residents.
- Participate in the nursing on-call rotation.
- Assist with feeding on the Special Care Unit.
- Direct the investigation and disposition of complaints or inquiries.
- Massachusetts RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- 2 years of Long-Term care experience.
- 1 year of nursing supervisory experience.
