We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team in south bend, in. As a Carpenter - Skilled Tradesman with BluSky, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality restoration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform carpentry tasks, including demolition, tile work, hanging cabinets, trim carpentry, door hanging, taping, painting, and light electrical/plumbing
  • Rough framing consisting of re-framing homes and setting trusses
  • Evaluate and ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship, and polite communication

Requirements:

  • Direct experience working as a skilled carpenter is required
  • Knowledge of carpentry and use of carpentry related hand and power tools
  • Self-motivated and able to work in confined areas (crawl space)
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Able to communicate effectively in oral and written forms to execute required paperwork
  • Identify hazards in assigned work areas and work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others
  • Meet the mental and physical demands of the job

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $23.75 hourly wage with opportunities for advancement
