Shift Schedule:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our maintenance team for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate should be proactive and capable of working autonomously or collaboratively.

Shift Details:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday from 3 PM - 11 PM
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday from 11 PM - 7 AM

Team Overview:

The Maintenance Department plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our facilities and manufacturing machinery. Our team consists of over 100 highly skilled tradespeople dedicated to maintaining a diverse array of manufacturing processes, including nutritional, cosmetic, and personal care products. As a Journeyman Electrician, your primary responsibilities will include conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, executing repairs, and assisting with installations and adjustments of equipment.

Role Highlights:

This position encompasses a variety of tasks, including:

  • Diagnosing equipment malfunctions
  • Performing repairs and maintenance
  • Implementing preventative measures
  • Identifying root causes of issues

Flexibility is essential, as the work schedule may vary from Monday to Saturday, depending on production needs. This role may also involve both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Electrician's license from the State of Michigan
  • High School diploma, completion of an apprenticeship, or 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in PLCs and control applications
  • Experience with robotics and industrial controls is advantageous
