Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance, to ensure the overall condition of our properties.
- Assist with turnkey operations, preparing vacant units for rent, and performing various repairs to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service to our residents.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and achieve goals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and company policies, reporting any discrepancies to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized vocational training or certification in HVAC, electrical wiring, or plumbing highly desired.
- At least 1 year of experience in building and facility maintenance, with a strong background in handyman work, home repairs, and DIY projects.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, read and write in English at an intermediate level, and problem-solve and troubleshoot equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work harmoniously with staff, vendors, contractors, and residents.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong level of accuracy and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential resident information and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required.
