Occupational Therapist PRN-OT Home Health

Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist PRN-OT Home Health will be responsible for evaluating patients' functional status, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve their ability to perform daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing quality care and a passion for working with patients in their homes.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, self-care ability, and work capacity.
- Develop treatment plans and establish goals for improved function, communicating with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Implement interventions, including teaching new skills, retraining patients in daily activities, and fabricating splints and adaptive equipment.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, clinical notes, and reports, submitting them in accordance with organizational policy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants, as needed.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Florida.
- Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
