Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care, evaluating and treating patients with lung diseases and breathing disorders. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, home health, nursing facility, or private practice, utilizing your expertise to manage equipment, provide treatment, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to address respiratory issues
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other treatments as prescribed
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • NBRC Certification
  • BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS Certifications (AHA)
  • Current state license
